Probador de coeficiente de fricción
Materiales de prueba
El Probador de coeficiente de fricción measures static and kinetic friction for materials such as plastic films, paper, paperboard, rubber, woven and non-woven fabrics, metal-plastic composites, wood, coatings, brake pads, and shoe materials. Its versatility allows testing across packaging, printing, textiles, and automotive industries, with options to adapt to special materials and standards.
Proceso de prueba
Samples are prepared per standards like ASTM D1894, ISO 8295, or GB 10006. The sled is placed on the test surface, and static COF (μs) is measured by recording the peak force to start movement. Kinetic COF (μd) is measured by maintaining motion at a set speed. Results, including max, min, and average values, are displayed in real time and can be printed or exported.
Interpretación de los resultados de la prueba
Low COF values indicate smooth, slippery surfaces, ideal for fast packaging lines but risky for stacking. Moderate COF balances slip and grip for general use. High COF means more resistance, suitable for traction needs but potentially problematic in automation. Factors such as additives, treatments, surface texture, and environmental conditions influence results.
