Test Materials

The GLT-01 is suitable for testing flexible pouches, sterile packaging, non-permeable films, and porous materials used in food, pharmaceutical, and medical device packaging. It supports various laminates and barrier films to ensure seal integrity.

Test Process

The test immerses the sealed package in water inside an acrylic chamber. Internal pressure is applied, forcing gas through any leaks, which appear as bubbles in the water. Operators observe bubble formation to identify gross leaks.

Test Result Interpretation

No bubbles indicate an intact seal and good package integrity. Visible bubbles confirm leaks, requiring corrective action. Bubble size and frequency relate to leak severity and packaging quality.
